How many hairbrushes do you have?

I have 3 different round brushes, all different sizes. 2 flat bristle brushes, one plastic brush, and a small bristle brush for my purse. I have had a couple of the brushes for about 10 years. They hold up quite well. I wash them every few weeks in shampoo to get rid of the build-up.

I own two but still could not find one to brush my hair with this morning. I had to use my husbands comb. Where are they?? Is this discussion a hint that you know where my brushes are?

I use to have several brushes but now only one. I found it of all places, at Walmart. It's plastic with plastic bristles and I hord it like a dog. When I can't find it I have to ask Mark where it is. He tells me that he doesn't use it. That's a lie! With my long hair it's the only one that has ever worked well for me. I should get a spare before they stop selling them, if they haven't already.

My preferred hairbrush is one from Stanley Products, which has merged with Fuller Brush. I do not use anything but the men's full size hairbrush. There are other ones around the house, somewhere, but my hair is not brushed until I find that one.

LOL, I live in a house with 2 girls, we have a thousand hair brushes but we can usually only find two at a time. And one of those is most likely going to be trapped in a barbie doll's hair!

I have three brushes .. 2 large paddle brushes with nice soft 'nobbly' bits on the end of the prong, and a tiny handbag sized paddle brush .. I wash my main brush everytime I wash my hair .. otherwise you are just brushing any greasy dirt and/or skin flakes back onto your hair that you've just washed .. my handbag brush isn't used very much so that's a once a month or when I remember job .. and my 'spare' brush is just that, spare .. so rarely if ever gets used ..

I had this one brush for years and years that I swore was the only one I could really tame my hair with. But it kept falling apart to the point that I couldn't even use it anymore, so I finally had to get rid of it. Since then, I've basically just used a comb, which at one point in my life I thought I would never use. I always used brushes, before. But now I find that a comb does me just as well, thankfully! ^_^

I have got three brushes... 1 brush with metal pins, 1 brush with soft hairs and 1 with harder hairs that helps me get my hair flat when putting it in a tail.... That thing you said about washing them with shampoo is a good tip... gonna use that one! Thanks!

It does sound like you have alot of brushes from anyone that I know. I don't really know how many we have, but maybe around 5 or less. We get rid of old ones alot more and get newer ones.

I only have one hair brush as I am very fussy on what I use. Its a soft bristled one. Its in pretty rough shape because the dogs got ahold of it and chewed the handle a bit. I just put some duct tape around it so it wouldn't scratch my hand. I suppose I should get a new one soon, I just keep forgetting.

I have two brushes. One plastic bristle one for really getting any knots out and a boar bristle one for distributing the oils from the top of my head to the tips of my long hair. I also have had these for a while and they are easy to take care of while they take care of my hair for me.

I quite a few hairbrushes but I only use two of them. I use a flat one for brushing my hair, and I use a round one for when I am blow drying my hair. I also have a plastic one, but that is inclined to be full of static so I don't use it very much.

I keep the circular brushes in different sizes for styling my hair at different lengths. I am surprised my husband hasn't said anything about my collection yet.

I have 2 hair brushes. They're a flat oval shape. Hopefully you know what I'm talking about. Anyway, one is a normal hairbrush (cheap but not plastic), and the other one is wood. Though I love my wood one, it is just too neat, I think the other one brushes my hair much easier when it's damp. I only use the wooden one when I'm styling my hair while it's dry.

Actually, I only have one brush for myself. But my girls have two brushes and the boys have a brush. I don't like to share my brush because I am pretty anal about cleaning the hair out when I am done. And the younger girls do not always clean out the brush when they are done. Then when you factor in that they have blonde hair and I have nearly blck hair, those don't mix well. LOL Oh! I do have a tinting brush if that counts! It is for dyeing my hair purple. :)

I have 3 brushes right now. One round one to blow-dry my hair with, one regular one in the bathroom and one regular one in my car. I don't worry about the buildup on my brushes any more. The shampoo I use now leaves no residue on my hair. I just have to rinse out my brush every now and then to get the dust out.

I see to be forever buying hairbrushes. With two daughters that are constantly taking them to brush their Barbie's hair, I can never find them. Last count we had six of them. And yet we can never find a hairbrush in the mornings.
