could you people suggest means by which i cud get my son speaking sentences

well my son is gonna be 2yrs old after 3months and still his vocabulary has only 9-10 words and we are really worried as however we try teaching him he doesnt say stuff, sometimes he does then he doesnt thereafter! but he understands everything n he has no problems as he used to say stuff previously but he keeps changing his ways so he doent...
so cud you guys propose stuff that cud help me

Do not worry so much. My father was a very bright man. He was a mechanical engineer. He didn't want to speak until he was 4 years old. He understood everything, but just didn't want to talk.
Do not force your child. Just speak to him, and don't respond if he points to what he wants. Let him talk when he is ready. He is still very young.
