Making Money Through Referals

I have had two people join through my referal link on Associated Content. I know how to collect the money for my writing, but does anyone know how to collect the money that you have earned for refering?

I finally joined, but I haven't done anything with my account yet. I haven't felt like writing anything lately. In kind of a slump. I hope you were able to get some info that was useful to you! Wish I could have helped!

They'll send it to you in the next month if those people's articles actually get published (you won't know unless you personally know them). The way it's set up, it shows you that they "published" as soon as they submitted something for consideration. But really, they won't pay unless the person's article really does get published.

You shouldn't have to do anything to collect it, it should just come. I referred someone over a month ago and totally forgot about it, until I got an email from AC saying I'd been paid for the referral.

UPDATE: Apparently I have this little problem with not reading things close enough... Here's what I just found on the Associated Content Invites Page: Payments will be sent at the beginning of each month. So there, its settled, my referals have published, but they did not do so until a week and two weeks into the month!

I have a couple of outstanding ones also. I'm assuming they do them quarterly? Anybody know?

I have 5 referrals for that I haven't been paid for. I should have been paid back in December, and it's Jan. and nothing. I don't think anyone has gotten paid for referrals. That is one thing AC needs to work on.

Are you certain that the people you referred really did get published? Do you personally know them to ask? I was paid for my December referrals. Mine showed having 17 referrals, but apparently only 3 out of 17 had their articles approved and published.

You get $3 per referral, only after they have been published. It took the better part of two months for my referrals to become paid referrals, but it does happen.

All of my referrals have been published, some several times. So I guess I have a month or so more to go before I get paid. Joy.
