Finding humor in exercise... or, at least, in the gadgets!

'Round about this time in January, you can hear the audible clatter of New Year's resolutions falling by the wayside... or "WEIGH-side" if we're talking about diet and exercise. My question today is about exercise "gadgets." We see them everywhere... on infomercials, in department stores, we even eyeball them in OTHER people's homes and wonder if we should be using them too! What's the most useless exercise gadget or piece of equipment you've purchased? What made you buy it? The advertising? The promises of miracle results? The guilt of feeling that you needed to do "something," rather than just sitting on the couch with the Cheez-Doodles watching OTHER people exercise on the commercials? LOL Or, like many people I know, were you lacking in closet space and thought a treadmill would make a grand place to hang your extra laundry? Keeping up a healthy lifestyle isn't an easy task for a majority of us so please share your funny stories and we'll know we're not alone! ;)
