Nearly all fish and shellfish contain traces of mecury. Higher levels of mecury can be harmful to an unborn baby. When eating fish and shellfish follow these guidelines: * Do not eat Shark, Swordfish, King Mackerel, Tuna steak, or tilefish beacuse they contain high levels of mecury * Check local advisories about the safety of fish caught by family and friends in local water. * Eat up to 12 ounces (2 average meals) a week and shellfish that are lower in mecury like shrimp, salmon, Pollock or catfish. *Limit canned light tuna to 6 ounces per week DO NOT EAT ALBACORE TUNA.
