No. Neither my husband nor I had relationships with others or each other before we were married.
To us, the marriage union is the most significant, unique experience in life, as two people pledge each to the other in a lifetime partnership.
This wonderful experience will NEVER be known by those who do not keep themselves for their lifetime partner.

GloomCookieLex, I didn't say it was bad. What I said is they are robbing themselves of a wonderful experience which comes after making vows of a lifetime commitment. I do not believe this can happen before marriage.

Obviously, things are different in your country. Here in America, it is rare you will find someone that hasn't had a previous relationship.

Yes I had a relationship before I got married and that too almost 2 decades ago so the society accepted that then, then I hardly feel society been rigid in present times. Now days I hardly see people getting married to their first relationship, every one have some kind of a relationship before getting married, its another thing that people name the fallen relationship with different names.

Can anyone accept that his partner has had a relationship before marriage!!! I think it is not good to have such a relationship. Else, there is no meaning for marriages.

i havent yet in the relationship right now but i will prefer to have a relationship before marriage so that i may able to know whats the relationship is.

in society ike our Indian society it is definitely I say unacceptable.We think we want to have relationship only with one person.Thats what I think.I wouldnt really have physical relationship even with my fiance until we get married.it is important that we follow what is in ourculture than to adopt or copy other people.again if it is ones choice to have it.well what can we say.it is his own right!
