Hinder vs Jack Ingram

I am a fan of music in general, but my favorite genres are rock and country. Every once in a while a song is released by an artist from each genre simultaneously or very close together. Well, recently, the song "Lips of an Angel" by Hinder has been climbing the charts. I love the song! Now usually when another artist releases the same song, I favor whichever I heard first. This time I find it quite hard. I was driving along listening to the radio when I heard Jack Ingram's version. The only way I could tell the difference was the lack of raspy/rock vocals. I love both versions equally, which I normally can't say. If you have heard both versions, which do you prefer?

Hinder comes out on top for Me.I like rock better though.The country version is o.k. but just doesnt quite do it for Me.

I can definitely respect and understand that. I appreciate you not coming on here and totally tearing Jack Ingram apart. Too many people do that sort of thing, and makes these discussions unappealing, like no one is entitled to their own opinion.
