Hey did anyone else watch the Allstar skills competition? They were testing out a new camera, which hangs above the ice surface. The cameras actually slide from end to end of the ice depending on where the action is. I didn't like it because it seemed too slow and the color didnt seem right coming from it. Who knows though it could be fixed in all arenas next year. With a few improvements I could get use to it.

I didn't like it either. It didn't seem to be able to catch up to the action. Sidney Crosby was awesome, and so was Ryan Miller. I'm for the East- who are you for? I like the skills competition more than the actual game. Tonight was just a laid back and fun thing. It's good to see these guys all getting along for 2 days, at least!

I was for the east aswell. I was actually quite disappointed in the play of Sydney Crosby, it shows that he's amazing when playing against average players, although he is not that great when playing with all stars. I was extremely impressed with the play of Yanic Perrault and Rick Nash for the west. For the east I think Chara had a great game.
Just another point I'd like to make, notice how there were 4 players who currently played or played for the Senators last season. It's kind of hard to believe they didnt do so hot in the playoffs last year.
But anyway thanks for replying!
