Do you get manicures and/or pedicures?

yes i do it on my own also. i cant remember when was the last time somebody did it for me. well its easy if you're already use to it you know. i like doing it. aside from my eyes, my nails are my second favorite part of my body. when i look to someone nears me, first would be there face then their nails. if its not that clean, it turns me off.

I do not I do like to pamper myself with massage though

I don't ever get manicures or pedicures for the same reason as you. I work too hard to waste my money on something that I can easily do myself and it looks just as good and lasts as long as my friends who pay for them.

I get a pedicure once a month. I have really bad problems with my feet from the Multiple Sclerosis, and it helps with my feet and lower legs, as they massage them. Unfortunately, with MS, you get a lot of issues with those body parts, and it helps some what afer having one done. It also work like a pressure point for it you have something else wrong.

I got a nice suprise from my husband today and he told me that I can get my nails and toenails done this weekend and he will pay for it :) this will be my first time having a manicure and pedicure done, so i'm not sure what to ask for in terms of what type of manicures they do? are there different types? roughly how much does a manicure and pedicure cost? what should I expect when I get to a salon? sorry to ask so many questions but since you have some a few done i thought I would ask - sorry if these questions are annoying and you don't have to answer them either. Thanks.

I've only had my nails done once at a nail salon. I was in high school and a couple of friends decided to get fake nails put on. They had gotten it done before, but since I hadn't they thought I should. When the nails eventually broke and fell off, I debated getting it done again, but I didn't bother. It just seemed like an unnecessary luxury for me. There were plenty of other things I'd rather spend money on than fake nails.

No, actually I have manicures and pedicures on my own. That's because they cost too much! But if I had lots of money I would get them every week! I had manicures done once and it was amazing, the result is much much better!!!

i do get those treatments sometimes. i know how to do it but its quite diffrent when someone professional does the job for you. it looks so neat and it wont take you the whole day doing your nails!

I get it done also and do it myself as well. I am more satisfied with what i do myself.... you can even do your pedicure while watching TV. just take a tub with warm water. put some shampoo and make bubbles. then place your feet in the tub for 15-20 minutes. then tak ethem out and apply cream and scrub massage for 5-10 minutes. then get your toes. trim the nails and clean them. file them. Try to buy a manicure - pedicure kit. it has all the filers and buffers. buffer gives a shine to the nails. apply nail polish french or any color. all the best!!

I only do them for special occasions. I can paint my own nails, and usually don't care to have my nails painted. But if I am in a wedding as a bridesmaid or something, I;ll have them done. I like the massage too, but I'd rather pay for reflexology than a manicure.

I do also do them myself every week. I undergo the following -soak -cut nails -remove old polish -clean fingernails with orange stick -use pumice stone on feet -use a scrub on feet -moisturise

pedicures but not manicures. I can't imagine sitting there and letting someone else file my nails.

i love getting both manicures and pedicures. I usually do my own manicures, but sometimes I like to treat myself and go get one done professionally. I also love getting pedicures, I try to get one atleast every month in the summer and every 6 weeks in the winter.

I used to. Back when my life was easy and carefree ( meaning back home, no children and single LOL ). Now I really have to watch my money carefully and I do by myself what I can do by myself. NOt to say that I wouldn't love to :)

I've had a few manicures. I like getting them done even though I could do them for myself if I wanted to. I've never had a pedicure as I'm not sure I'd like somebody at my feet. I'm very ticklish.

Not in a very long time. I have been wanting to go back and get my nails done. I have the worse luck trying to grow my nails. And the pedicures are so relaxing.

I have had it maybe twice in my life, and I will never do it again except for myself... There's nobody who knows how to take care of my fingers and toes as good as I do :-)

Well I normally dont get manicures , I just get my nails done every once in a while. But I do get pedicures because I dont like to do that myself lol.

Who has the time or the money? I don't! I enjoy them, but like you, cannot justify the cost!

I do pedicure myself. I have always imagined being wounded by the spa's tools.So I prefer to do it myself. But I do get foot spas (less the pedicures). I am not much into manicures. I just clip my nails and file them.
