it give me a place to put tags to the message if it was a private message? I mean to me it don't matter if someone else were to see it, its not private private. Its just about links to websites. I just wondering if a person sends another member, someone from their friends list...why would it need search tags?

according to Mylot , tags help in searching our own private messages . Private messages are really private to other members . However , Mylot administrating staff can see our messages if required . It is not officially notified ...

Because when you do a search, it also includes a search of your private messages. I just skip it personally. I do not see a point of searching my private messages because I do not keep them. I might keep a few for referrence of something. But I don't need a search for them. ha ha But keep in mind, if you do not press skip or enter a tag, the message will not be sent. So you must at least press skip.
