Anyone use Moveable Type?

I just purchased my own domain and with it a moveable type blog platform. So far, my experience with Moveable Type has been horrid! I've found it really difficult to change themes, edit the sidebar, ect. Has anyone else has experience with Moveable Type?

What do you mean EXACTLY by "movable type"? Is it a name? How come i've never heard of it before?
