What are you thoughts on the character Cid from the Final Fantasy games? I think that he is so cool no matter what game you are playing. He is always helpful when you encounter him as well. He is always different on each of the games, but his personality, style and image never change to a large degree. Cid is courageous and truthful to a fault. He believes in himself and in what he does, but never gives up.

I liked the FF7 one best. He had the coolest of weapons. The Mop was the greatest thing to hit Final Fantasy. But FF7 Cid just had the best personality,like Rena said.

Just like the Chocobo, the Moogle, Biggs and Wedge and some other things, Cid is like a trademark to Final Fantasy series. He's like a "guardian" in all Final Fantasy series who either help, assist, guide or even join the party as playable character. The most obvious notification would be in Final Fantasy VII, where Cid Highwind is a playable character, with interesting personality too. :D However my favourite Cid would be from Final Fantasy Tactics, the undefeatable Cidolfas Orlandu a.k.a. Thunder God Cid.
