Where have quality discussions gone?

I for the first time have to vent my frustration today. I have been spending the last 4 hours browsing for good knowledgeable discussion posts to read and respond. However, most of the posts I find are related to mylot issues. And these posts have gathered so many responses that I wonder if a syndicate is going on.
What has happened? Where are the good posts on topics like international affairs, medical, wellness, lifestyle living, etc? I am missing these because these are the topics I can learn from.
Can someone tell me what's going on. Can more of you write more good topics that would appear more on the first page rather than mylot issues dominating so many pages?

Creationhub,I haven't been with Mylot for a long time... I started two discussions about international politics, got no response at all... I agree with you there is a lot of babbling, but maybe this is what the majority of the members wants. I am all for quality discussions, and will answer to any new entry on that!

Elisata, I have rated you positive for understanding my desire. Morever, I am going to invite you to be my friend. Please do create some posts so I can read and respond with joy and interest. I just have had enough of what you called babblings.
Hope you will also go through my discussion posts and respond to them. In this way, I think you and me and anyone else's who feels the same way as us will have less stress.
