why does software developing companies over price and make it profitable

than helping people... and when they introduce ther software, they emphasize its very useful and very essential to our everyday assement.. when infact they are just mass producing it and just benefit of getting richer and richer... we keep on purchase of the so called genuine products... and then the new mch better edtion comes and we have to purchase it again, the only one getting wealth is them, thats why i wont blame hackers who will get into their system and take all the copy of it and just post it for the freeware or shareware for everybodys benefit... bt some also take advantage... wheww! what a money making world...
