My 3 year old is quite a big boy really and yesterday I was weeding the small stuff out of his wardrobe. He was 3 in December but his clothes ranged from 18-24 months right up to 4-5 years.
He still has some 2-3 that fit but has some 3-4 that don't, it seems strange.
All the different brands seem to be different sizes, have you noticed this?

It seems so strange that we cannot just say get a size whatever, I have noticed it with my clothes, usally a size 16 coversall but sometimes a 14 is more than big enough.
My step-mum got Roo a 5-6 year long sleeve T-shirt last week but it would be too small for Bong who is is 6-7 years, lol.
Why is life so complicated?

This was a problem when my girls were all small too, and continues now that they are in teen and women's clothing. You would think that there would be some sort of standard measurement for children's and adult's clothing. And don't get me started on size zero!!!!!

I'm glad it's not just me that thinks clothes should be a standard size, it's hard to ask Grandma where she will be shopping and telling her what size she needs to get from that particular store.
Size Zero is a good one - when I was 19 I was still buying my clothes from Tammy Girl - the kids version of Etam, but in grown up sizes needed an 8-10.
Nowadays I am a far more comfortable 16 (ish - depends sometimes less often more) and size zero looks emaciated and in need of feeding too me. I'm so glad I have boys so the only problem will probably be getting them out of the gym if they are like me pre children.
