Looking for information on caterpillar engine 4S8500

The engine is in a old fishing boat and I would like to know where I can find a repair manual so that I can find out what everything is and where it is. Simple things like the transmission filler spout(hole). Would like to know what everything is so that I can mantain it. Thanks
