DO you do your own home repair ?

My husband and do all of our home repair and maitenece. I do the building and he does the electrical and plumming for us its good clean fun, are we weired ? Right now we are building a baking station out of cedar ( My favorite wood). To buy something similar but about half the size is about twice the price not to mention the fact that there will be no presswood in our projects. I am alway looking for new tips and ideas. We are also getting ready to build new couches, anybody done this one before? any tips ? Going to be doing new cabinates soon to ! Also need tips on peeling logs for a river rock and log mantel, its not as easy as it looks !

NO I don't. My parents normally hire a carpenter and a mason to do that kind of stuff. My parents don't have time because they are busy and also they don't know how so they'd rather hire and pay.

I am so glad that we have to knowledg to do it ourselfs, otherwise we would not be able to do it at all.
