how do you take care of OUR environment?

coming from different parts of the globe, i would like to know how do you take care of our environment? i used the word "our" in here because i believe that we are living in one big environment and that the things we do affects each an everyone of us though we are living in different countries.
for me, take care of our environment by throwing garbages in their proper places, not harming animals especially those that are endangred, i follow the rules, and i try to be a good example to the kids.

I help to protect our environment tru:
1. I don't smoke
2. I segregate bio and non-bio degradable waste
3 I don't burn rubber tires
4. I disposed off litters in right place.
though it is very simple and straight forward, dude it helps a lot.

through small things comes big things right. i believe that we we do in our small ways when put all together, it will be very big. here in our place it is a mandate that biodegradable and nonbiodegradable wastes be segregrated. they even segregate plastics from papers.
