ebay fees.....free in china?

I recently heard that ebay is now available to people in china. That is great and all but I heard they dont pay fees of any kind on eBay. Is this true? Dont sound like free trade to me becuase I have to pay a lisiting fee, a final value fee, and if they pay through pay-pal they take a few as well leaving me with pennies. Doesnt sound fair to me!
