Will you buy used?

Will you buy "gently worn" "used" resold etc etc stuff for you and your kids? My wife loves consignment shops because our son grows so fast and clothes are so expensive. Do you like to buy stuff for around the house or just in general? I could always use good ideas!

I love to buy used stuff. I buy used clothes, used books, used DVDs, used video games, used CDs, used furniture.... I scour Goodwill and thrift shops looking for the best deal. I once got a beautifully carved solid oak writing desk for just twenty dollars at a Saint Vincent DePaul's thrift store. And I find a bunch of designer stuff at Goodwill every week! It's the best way to shop as far as I'm concerned.

My wife is the same way. As long as it's in good condition, and in her case, if it's clothes for anyone in the family, she brings them home and washes them. twice normally..before wearing them!
