As you see I'm replying to an old post so I don't need to explain my stand on this topic. I think you have achieved many goals now and are not so 'new' for mylot lol. Usually I reply to recent discussions or those one which fall before me eyes as 'similar discussions' but when I get nothing interesting in these, I return to old topics:) There's nothing wrong in doing that. After all it's you who has to choose what to say and where to post it;)

You can post in any discussions made doesn't matter how old it is... It's your choice...

Everyone has their own way of doing things and you will decide what is best for you of course. The first thing I do when I come here to myLot is to check my own discussions and read the responses since the last time. I also take the time then to rate those responses which are deserving of it and also rate the photos if there are any. I do not rate every response, as that detracts from the value of the rating system. I will also make a comment when and where applicable to those responses. By making a comment I can then see if anyone else has responded since I last checked as well. Then I go to my list of friends, and respond to at least one of their discusions if they have any that I haven't already responded to that is. After that I have a general browse and anything that looks interesting I will check out, but that seldom happens as my friends often give me enough discussions to give quality responses to. I will go right back to the first discussion one of my friends has started if necessary and often find some with no responses at all. So it is up to you what you do, but generally most people appreciate it if those on their friends list also respond to their discussions. I know that I do anyway.
