I wouldn't .. coz I'd come up with better names. But to think of it, it would make one quirky name ! Anyways, i have seen in movies and cartoons , dogs with the name "dog". In Dexters lab , we have his mom's name "mom" and dad's name "dad" LOLZ .. then we can definitely have a dog's name "dog" :D

my kids probably would. they named their fish, fish. LOL, but they ended up chaning the name to nemo-so yah.
