How do you react if your PC does not run???

Yesterday when I turned on my PC, I found an HDD error. It was very much annoying. I got furious, called the service man, who, just like his usual practice, did not turn up in time. Finally I managed to start it by re-booting it in safe mode. But those half an hour time was almost unbearable for me.
How do you react when you face a sudden PC-problem?

well my first reaction is why?
Nah.. it's pretty much like homer in the simpsons where he just knocks it into the trash can! lol
1st.. i ponder..
2nd.. i try and start it up
3rd.. found the problem starting fix it
3rd step 1.. fix it and be happy
3rd step 1/2.. call it names i couldn't repeat
then i'd calmly ask it to start up for me =)

Sometimes i wonder if giving it a bash with a blunt object really helps ;)
Awhile back my desktop pc was going daily. (i'm ashmed to say this but i didn't treat it right or protect it from spyware/ errors etc) not the best thing to do but once you learn abit it becomes easier.
Kudos for starting a fun topic. You seem very funny buddy =)

I will sit there and try to fix it and not give up until I do. lol
Just a little tip: A lot of places will try to help you over the phone to get it going again. It saves a lot of money!

I tend to punch my room's wall, i become hard headed and won't accept any opinions from other people hehe and lastly i became so furious that i had to hit my computer's cpu (not that hard, since something inside of me hold back)
