I would consider coloring my hair when there's a color out there that would make me look better. Or when my hair has so many grays that I will need to cover it up. Only if I am still young and there's so many gray hair already.

I know of a friend who had lots of white hair from a very young age. I got to know her from when we started school at 7 yrs old. So as soon as she was old enough to dye her hair, she did, up to this day. I suppose it's a self-image issue for some. I would too.

Everything I do now I do it because it is what I want to do and because it makes me feel good and not for anyone else. I could do it for someone Else yes to keep them Happy but it would not mean that I am happy, so it is no use to make myself Unhappy to please someone else, so everything I do I do it for myself.

It's always better to be doing things because we want to and like to rather than out of obligation or to please someone else.

I have a friend who is in her 80s and she has the same problems but she's given up dyeing her hair.

I've been coloring my hair for almost 10 years now. I did it because I don't like my real color who is a little bit to dark for me. My hair are just a littel bit more blind but it looks natural on me. Some don't even know it,s not my real color.

You know, it's funny that asians like to dye their hair blond too. I don't dare to in case my parents don't recognise me after that although I've thought of it before.

I have colored my hair on a few occasions, but only with the wash out dye. It's just nice for a change every now and again. However, the older I get the more greys that are coming out and when there are too many I will dye my hair but then I will try to get as close as I can to my natural color.

I'm not brave enough to dye my hair a drastically different colour from my original which is black. It's a good idea to just use the wash out ones to have a change or in case you don't like it you can just wash it out.

When there are alot of white hairs I may consider it. Right now, it's supposed to be black but a little bleached by the sun and the elements so it looks brownish red under certain lighting. But I am not complaining. I did consider dyeing it blond just to give my mom a shock. LOL!!

If I do use hair dye I would also consider the kind of products which won't damage my hair.

If I am married, I would probably also ask my husband's opinion first. I would like to know that he approves of it.

I probably will never dye my hair.
I was a swimmer in high school, and I know what it's like to have wrecked hair, so I don't ever put chemicals in it if I don't have to.
I have nice brown hair and I don't need to mess with it. Though my husband would flip his lid if I went red, I doubt I'll do it.
It's also an unnecessary expense - why pay money for that? Does it make my life better? Then i won't spend the money.
