Are you addicted to Celebrities?

I was standing in line at the grocery the other day, and there's headlines from every magazine up there screaming out about celebrities lives, the gossip, how much they're eating, who they're dating blah blah blah blah. And so many shows in the evening are devoted to what these celebrities are doing..are you addicted?

Well, I will admit, it is easy to watch when someone else's life is crumbling instead of thinking of my own woes. LOL
But, I am not addicted. I do, however, like to watch the Hollywood True Stories.
It seems to humanize instead of idolize the celebrities. The stories tell how they started, the bumps in the road that are real, the gossip that is also addressed by the celeb, and where they are now in their career. That...to me is interesting.
But the tabloids at the grocery store...I know is just a bad photo or a rumor that someone told. I do not take it as truth.

It is easy to watch someone else's life to crumble. But, it is also easy to pick up a tabloid and look at the celebrities baby photos. I can be interesting, but like you said it is not the truth, it is a rumor or a bad photo.

I don't think that I am addicted, but like everyone else...you want to know what is going on in others life's. But, you also want to know their history/past so you watch the E! Hollywood True Stories. That is very interesting!! :D But, I am not addicted to the tabloids, because photographers wait for a bad angle and snap the shot! And...that is your front page!! LOL And the other stuff is just gossip, or something that someone might have heard!! LOL :DD

Thats completely true. I just wonder about the people that believe everything they read in those kinds of magazines. But on the other hand, when people want to become household names as actors/actressess in America, then they kind of have to expect the kind of publicity they're going to receive over everything that they do.
