Our first snow of 2007

I woke up at 6 am this morning and it was snowing outside. They called off school and it's not really that bad out there. We don't usually get a lot of snow but it's pretty out there. They say it's supposed to turn into freezing rain by noon. So it will be ice on top of snow. It is soooo cold out there though. My 8 month old didn't know what to think when I let him look outside, he starting swinging his arms and kicking his feet. It was cute. Anybody else had snow this year?

we had snow here this morning in madison county illinois.about an inch or so. not enough to call off school but when we were kids we went to school until it was up to the doors. hahah (not that much)we are not due for more snow until friday night and then sunday night.
i would love to have a huge amount just once more

Nope, a little sleet but no snow. Hurrah for you! I wonder if it will snow before the 7th Feb, my birthday, it did when I was born.
