Writing books

I've just finished writing a work of fiction. However, although it's fiction, a lot of the incidents in the book actually come from events in my life, and some of the characters are loosely based on people I've met. All this is woven into a story. The hard work starts when you get people to critically edit your book, and then try to get your work published.
