My poor sick baby boy

My son is such a little monster! LOL The last couple of days he's complained of a headache and yesterday was no different. He is 5 and don't complain for attention yet so I knew he didn't feel good. Last night about 9pm, he started throwing up and running almost 103 temp. Poor kid was SOOO sick until about 230am...he threw up that time and then went sound to sleep. He woke up this morning at about 730am and literally jumped out of bed saying "mommy, I feel SOOO much better". LOL Now, he is fine. I sure wish that I could bounce back from throwing my guts up and running a high fever so quickly. LOL Now, I am trying to disinfect everything so my daughter doesn't get it. LOL She's more like me...these viruses and all hang on to her longer.

I am glad your lil man is feeling better, when kids are sick they get really sick but they bounce back better than us adults most of the time! Hope your daughter doesnt catch it, or you either! Hugs!

I feel for you with a sick kid. I know how nasty that is. It's great that he's bounced back so quickly. Wish I would, it lingers with me forever. It's amazing though how it can start out as something as little as a headache and then to such misery. At least he is doing better and hopefully no one else gets it either.

Thank you! I am the same way...if I end up with it, I am laid up for 3 days. And, I am not whiney...this is just me and how long my body takes to fight off infection. LOL

Glad to hear he feels better. It is amazing how quick some people bounce back after they have been sick. I have a friend that can be throwing up for days and isn't eating to the first day she feels better eating a hamburger and fries. My stomache couldn't take that

aww your poor little monster they become so unwell so fast and yet can bounce back so quickly .There isn`t anything worse than aa little one being sick but i`m glad he has recovered well for you .If it`s a viral bug it`s most probably an air borne one and will most probably go through all of you .but it sounds as though his headache had something to do with it

Oh man I remember those days. My aunt was just telling me about her 5 y/o eating pizza while he had the flu, and stopped talking to me so she could "go play a game with him"!!!!!!! Now, if I had the flu, I would want nothing more than a comfy bed, no sound, no light, no PIZZA.... Kids are so resillient sometimes.

i'm glad your son is better now, maybe he just needed some rest. =)Great idea of disinfecting your home so the others wouldn't catch the virus.

yep i am cleaning with lysol and bleach and washing everything. I sure don't want it. The last time I was sick with a bad virus, it took me 3 days to get over it and I was good for nothing. My husband was here at the time and that's the ony reason my kids got taken care of. LOL
