should Military training be made compulsory in india

recently i have started a discussion "r indians bad in following rules" and i got quite a lot of interesting responses in it.

so i figured out that to make indians more disciplined, military training must be made compulsory.
i myself had never undergone military training but i support it a lot.
so tell me ur views and whether u have undergone anything like military training.

I dont think military trainig shoul be made compulsary in India.It shoul be left to the personal choice of the individual rather than pushing someone to do something he is not interested in. There students would like to pursue a career in academics and it is not good to force them to undergo military training.Rather miliary training should be introduced as an optional.

yes i agree with u countries like napal, isreal have compulsory training. in napal every family must have one member who is trained.
