which company provides better security from virus symantec or macafee

is security provide by symentec is better than the other security providers from virus. give me some elaboration about the features of the symeatec and other security provider company so that i can also know the features.

Even I am not sure which is the best. But onething is that there are many choices, each of them is strong in any one of the feature.
I think McCafe is quite good in virus protection. But you have Norton ...... which are quite famous.
Can any experts make comment on this? Even I wanna know this :)
