Game console for my son?

i think for a six year old a gameboy advance would be better, the game sare more suitable, it is alot cheaper, and is more about gaming, whereas the psp is for music, games and umd's so is more an all round console

i agree with Shatman..the Gameboy Advance is a much better choice for a 6yr old. more simplified controls and probably 75% of the games avaiable for the GBA are based on kids cartoon and kids movies. ie; SpongeBob and Harry Potter etc. Get the GameBoy Advance SP though. it comes with a charger and is backlit so none of the "find the right angle of bright light to try and see the screen" problems that my little sister always had with the other versions.
