Why can't I post again in my discussion?

It's so confusing... - If I write to some specific person wjhile I mean it for all, it's not preferrable. So?

Hey, I started a discussion and got some responses. Seeing these responses, I got some new comments in my head. But these comments were meant for all the responders or atleast most of them. Now, why am I forced to post that comment to some particular responder? Why can't I post a new 'response' made by me so that it appear as general thought? It's really a drawback in my opinion!

There's nothing to keep you from posting new comments in your own discussions. If it's just a general comment, use the link right under your discussion and it will go to the end, instead of to someone else's comment.
