un responsive wayward answers to discussions/comments...how do you treat them?

ive browsed on some discussions and replies to post also my reply and i do noticed that there are wayward and unresponsive answers sometimes...i tend to redirect by posting corrective replies...to revert back the incoming replies to the main topic...how bout you dear friends how do you treat this situations?.............i would like also to extend my thanks to those who have been critical on my english language and choice of words...rest assured it will be taken noted and put in good use...peace!

I give + to responses in bad English if they are trying to answer to the discussion but their words are not clear enough, I give - to those who seem to be not trying at all and giving an abstract short response barely related to the topic, and I do use the "!" sign and report abuse for those posting unrelated things or a "fit all response" like "I agree", etc. I think that's what mylot admin wants us to do and expect from us to keep the quality of the site and they can keep paying us all month after month :)

i agree with your opinion freesoul...but i dont think all of us here at mylot share the same intuition..i hope they would think of the same idea to make mylot crate more colorfull,interesting and wise worthy discussion!peace and happy posting friend!more blessings to come!

This does happen quite often, and if you receive a lot of responses to a discussion then you can expect a few that are either irrelevant to the topic or simply pointless. There will always be a few people rushing from discussion to discussion and making abstract posts in order to increase their rating, so I simply give them a negative rating and move on.
