Is there such thing as a 'soul mate"?

Do you believe that there is only one special person out there for you? Several? How can you tell if this person is truly your soul mate?

Well, I think I found him once and I lost him. I don't know if there are others and we all have many or not but it's so difficult to combine daily life with someone who sees & feels things exactly as you do that I'd have to say I'm not willing to ever even attempt to find another "soulmate". I suspect many other people feel the same way. I truly applaud those are able to live out their lives with a soulmate although I suspect one or the other is sacrificing a lot more than usual to make it work.
