Overuse of medicines

I think all around the world there is an overuse of medicines, due to low information, there is no knowledge of natural remedies as can be hebals or omeopathics, which is your honest opinion on this matter??

The Chinese have used herbals for 1000's of years. The German from what I hear prescribe herbals as part of their system. America is slowly adopting herbals in the form of complementary medicine. So the world is slowly getting more natural remedies into the population. A good thing if you ask me. The Chinese appear to be pretty healthy to me.

hi,its true..in india it is somewhat better,as we are having more rural area,still people are using some natuaral remedies as they know from ages.For example ..in one state,people eat more fish,and they got lowest heart attack rates in india,in another state people use more turmeric in all food items,which reduces cancer attacks.like that so many examples...

i'll agree with that one...knowledge deficit about herbal medicines makes us turn to synthetic medicines which leads to many adverse effects, and complications...I think that people should know about some herbal medicinesand there specific uses...
