get flea powder and rub it into your dog, make sure you do the bedding as well, repeat above process until flea re gone.

Get some Advantage or Frontline. That's the topical stuff you put on the dogs back/neck area. It stays on them for about a month, and each product is different. One will only kill adult fleas, one will kill adults and larvae, and eggs also I believe. Also be a good idea to spray some kind of insect/flea killer under there. Don't let him in there till it dries good. You'll also probably need to treat the yard as well, eithre with a spray or a pellet. If he comes in the house, just vacuum a lot. You can spray inside as well, but I don't like the chemicals around, plus I have small kids, birds, and fish. Usually that stuff you put on their necks will rid them within a month or so, along with the yard treatment. You'll just need to keep using that stuff though. WHen you stop, the fleas tend to come back.

Just bathe your dog even if with ordinary laundry soap and after bathing it for a number of times, the fleas will be gone. That's what we do in the province. There were no shampoo, etc. for dogs yet before and the soap is effective may be more than what we buy now and it's cheaper of course so try to bathe your dog,

Go to your local petstore and get some stuff for fleas. They should have stuff to put on your dog, and for that house as well. Read the directions and do what it says. and good luck
