OK - it is evening now here in Europe, and very soon it will be time to go to bed, and think that tomorrow is that most dreadful day ...... MONDAY! Nothing to look forward to but another 5 days of getting up early, being caught in rush-hour traffic, and being at work:-(( Does anyone else feel this way?

No I don't now as I am a pensioner and don't have to get up early every morning , It's brilliant if I dont have to take any of my family for Doctors appointments or anything else early , I just snuggle in and have another hour , so all days are the same really , it's nice to be retired ,xx

I would say I was lucky not to have Monday blues because I am not currently working, but I am not, I want to work and I long to be back in work again. I have an interview tomorrow afternoon so fingers crossed. Even so when I used to work I did shifts and would always work my weekends, because it coincided with my housemate being off! My two days off were usually Monday and Thursdays to split the week up better. I wouldn't want to go back to commuting again that's for sure, it's no fun.

I think most do. I am fortunate because I'm a stay at home Mom so really it doesn't matter to me. Half the time I forget what day it is. But when I was working I obviously hated Mondays. What I would find to is I'd have a really hard time getting to sleep on a Sunday night. I'd toss and turn and think about anything and everything. It's a grind that's for sure.

yes i always suffer from monday blues. mostly on sundays, when i go to bed i find it hard to go to sleep thinking that the next day is monday, and i have to face the hectic work schedule at my office. then on monday morning i feel like not getting up and getting ready for work..even though physically i'm not tired i feel really lazy while getting up on mondays.

When I was employed I tried to extend the weekend by staying up later on Sunday. Of course this would make me feel miserable in the morning when that alarm clock went off. Now that I have been out of work I no longer have the Monday Blues. It is nice to wake and feel great about each day. Hopefully when I return to work the blues will stay at bay.
