Rockets hit Kandahar Air Base

My cousin left for Afganistan yesterday and will arrive in Kandahar today. I opened internet explorer just then and my heart dropped when I saw that 2 taliban rockets had hit the air base and injured one solider. He was not Canadian. He will be out of hospital tommorrow. I worry so much about my cousin and all the troops over there. It is not just getting hurt but all they have to see and go through. What do you think about all the troops in Afganstan?

That is a terrible thing to have to worry about. I can't even begin to imagine the things they see and what they have to go through. I think everyone has had enough of this war. Too many lives have been lost. You will worry about him the whole time he is over there but all you can do is say a prayer every night that he will be ok.
