The hottest temperature

Whish has been the hottest temperature in your town/village?? Here in Florence,Italy in 2005 was 41°Celsius.....my conditioners had a lot of work...

In the year when my son was born 2000. It was 42celsius for a few days, and it did not go unde 40 for 2 weeks. I had to get up at 6am to walk with my baby on the fresh air. It was too hot alredy at 8. I will never forget.

Texas set its all-time record of 120F on August 12, 1936 in Seymour, Tx. Dunno what it works out to in celsius...
