I have been trying to think of some more hints and tps for you , I hope there are some here that are of some use to you , If you have broken glass on the floor and there are a lot of tiny shards , use wet newspaper or a piece of bread to lift them ..................... If you have been working on the car , use brasso ( metal cleaner) or a mixture of washing up liquid and sugar to wash your hands ................. If you use a butter dish , to stop the butter slipping about the dish, Wash the dish in hot watter give it a good dry then put the butter on the dish and put it in the fridge for a little while the butter will have melted slightly where it hits the warm dish then will freeze to the dish .... hope these helped xx

Thanks here is one I just started using. Instead of furniture polish, try using 1 part cider vinigar to 1 part olive oil. It is inexpensive, and non-toxic.

The broken glass tips are great. I never would've thought of that.

Thanks for your great tips, I especially liked the car tip, because many a time I've come in with greasy, oily hands from messing about in the car. Thanks as always for sharing!

Wow what a great idea in regards to broken glass on the floor thanks very much for this hint. I have used this one for the car it is majical how the grease comes off your hands when you do this. And the third tip regarding the butter I will give it one a go as well as it is very hard when the buttter is slipping around the dish everywhere when you need to butter your bread.
