made soap for the first time

i made soap for the first time yesterday. it was alot easier to do than i thought it would be. you just buy a brick of soap from a craft store (such as michael's). melt how ever much of it you want add some color if you want as well as some scented oil and then pour it into a mold. i made peach colored soap with peach scented oil. it smells so good. my boyfriend said to me,"are you sure they're not edible?" . . .that 's how good they smelled. does anyone else make soap?
