Well my country and my race are not the same...My country is Canada and our national anthem is Oh Canada BUT my race is Polish and West Indian and I've no clue what the anthems are for either....I am very proud of both my races and my country of birth plus the countries my family comes from...

Hi, Im from Libya . Our national anthem is a poem written by an Egyptian poet during the Suez canal war . It's title is (Allahoo Akbar) (God is the greatest)
the lyrics go like this:
.Allahoo akbar fow ka kay dil mo tady= (allah is greater than the enemies' devices)
.Allahoo lil maz loomy kheyroo moo ey yiddy= (allah is the best ally for the opressed)
.Ana bil ya keeny wa bil si lahhy sa af tady (I will pay with my life and my weapons )
.Ba la dee wa noo rol hak ky yas ta oo fee ya dee (for my country, the light of justice shining in my hand)
Koo loo ma ee, koo loo ma ee ( say after me,say after me)
Allah allah alla hoo akbar (God, god,god is the greatest )
Alla hoo fow kal mo ta dee (God is greater than the invaders)

The star spangled banner is the Anthem of USA I love it and I honor the spirit of it when I hear it. I think it is a symbol of the spirit of our people. National pride is not about race or gender. I believe that would be wrong.
My National Anthem tells of an imprisoned man aboard a ship attacking his country and his witness of the fight throughout the battle.
War is not Glorious but the faith one has in his country is.

I am a Filipino just like you, vehaileairu. And I am proud about our national anthem. Though I like America's National anthem rythm because it sounds like Aud Lang Syne(Sorry for the spelling) I still prefer the Lupang Hinirang because I live with it for 23 years as well as it had fought many battles and was made by our heroes.
