Considering you know Linux & Windows equally well which one would you prefer ???

SuSE is a great flavor of Linux. I like their updating program. I've used many Linux distros over the years and besides from Gentoo (when I can install it correctly the first time) I prefer SuSE. I've had my laptop set to dual boot between Windows XP Pro and SuSE for years but I mainly stick with Windoze because of the games I like to play that aren't compatible, plus when I was on dial-up my modem wasn't compatible with any version so I just stuck with XP Pro. I love the security of Linux though and I love getting hands-on with my operating system when Linux is installed. I just bought a new laptop with Windows Vista and I should be receiving it in the mail tomorrow. I wanted to try out a Mac but they are just too expensive for what you get. I'm not really looking forward to Vista because I hate windows in general but I'll give it a try so I can help others out with their problems in the future.
