By the time Seminole security personnel called Hollywood, Fla., paramedics for help in assisting Anna Nicole Smith last Thursday, she was already unresponsive, according to a 911 tape released Tuesday The 31-second tape also reveals that Smith was not breathing in her room at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on the tribe's reservation. During the call, which was played for the media by Hollywood Police Capt. Tony Rode, a woman from the Seminole Police calmly states, "If you could please respond to the Hard Rock room 607, it's going to be in reference to a white female. She's not breathing and she's not responsive ... she's actually Anna Nicole Smith." "Oh, okay," responds a woman at the Hollywood Police Department. Officials say they arrived at the hotel six minutes after the call was received. Smith, 39, was pronounced dead about an hour later at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood. Rode referred all questions pertaining to the tape to the Seminole Police Department, which did not immediately respond to a request for comment, the Associated Press reports. Smith's partner, Howard K. Stern, with whom she exchanged vows in a commitment ceremony on Sept. 28, was not at the side of the former Playmate when she died, said his sister, Bonnie Stern, according to the AP. That same morning, however, he had been there and was aware Smith was very sick – running a fever of 105 degrees and requiring a nurse who was "icing her down" earlier that day. "When he left her, she was sleeping," Bonnie Stern said, adding that her brother had been gone only about two hours when he received word that Smith had died. Asked what she believes had caused Smith's death, Bonnie Stern – who recently traveled from her Beverly Hills home to the Bahamas to comfort her brother – said: "Her immunity was so low. She was so depressed. She kept getting sick and her body just probably broke down."
