One of my best friends was working in a UK based company and very recently due to some economical problem, the company is no longer running. He asked me for freelance work but i dont have much idea. If amyone is doing freelance work related to writing then plz do let me know so that i could help him out...

Another thing you can look into is freelance job posting web sites. They are places where prospective employers and freelance workers can connect. One such site is http://www.freelanceworkexchange.com. There are many jobs in different industries, but writing is well represented there. Best of luck.
