Web Design. Which is the best language?

First of all i love web sites designed whit text editor. I hate sites made with frontpage. I use php becouse I think is the most useful, but i know a lot of people which use flash. What do you think about?

i like php and mysql for web development, i also like java because java is very secure but i use php...php is best..

some eng. students told me that java isn't secure. It's like it is readble from everyone. Php, instead, is elaborated on the server and so isn't readble from everyone...

I also prefer PHP, it is better compare to ASP and CGI. Flash is useful for banner creation and the file size are to large.

I had problems with asp. problems about compatobility. Flash is only a way to create weight to the site... you're right, it's good only for banners
