As the saying goes, an apple a day, keeps the doctor away. From here we know that taking nutrious fruits will improve health and it also tell us about the power of cumulative effect. So, especially for those who believe in causality, doing a good deed (regardless how small it is) will surely improve our life afterwards. The effect does not return instantly, just like eating an apple in the first day, won't show any sign of health improvement. We will need to keep on doing it, then only we can see a difference. We should do it sincerely too, doing good deed with evil intention will do us no good. It's like eating apple daily with bad mood, won't improve our health too! Some might say, luck & life is still giving them hard time, even though they had done a lot of good deed. This is possible too, coz some people had not cleared their overwhelming debt. Some people might have done a great deal of bad deed (might happen in previous life) and it takes time for the effect to cease. Then only the effect of the good deeds will prevail. Finally, believe it or not, your life will be getting better after you had done a good deed on daily basis (no matter how small it is, just do it, ie like giving a smile or a compliment). So, have you done a good deed today?

Hello dear cheongyc. I have done a good deed today helping my foreign friend as well as my colleague to buy a new cell phone. What I need to do for him is to take him to some good cell phone shop with lots of cell phones for him to choose from and work as his interpreter to enable him to have a good communication with the shop assistant. The deal of getting the cell phone is closed with my help and I am glad that my friend has finally got a cheap, but satisfactory cell phone for himself. In China, our beloved leader Chairman Mao once taught us that it is not difficult to do a good deed. What is difficult is to do good deeds all lifetime. I love this saying by him and I am always trying to be helpful to people around me so long as it is within my limit. Thanks very much for your discussion.

Great! After helping your friend, you will feel satisfied and contented as well right? It's one of the reward by doing good deeds. As time goes by, I feel that happiness is more important than any other thing else in the world. I had been through many moments of sadness and realize about it. Thanks for responding to my discussion. You remind me to do more good deeds too! LoL. Hope we can continue to do good deeds and reduce the bad deeds.

Hi my dear friend, cheongyc. Thank you for responded again on one of my old discussion. Since you have not created any new discussion I then come to chat again with you here, welcome? You know, as a wife and a mom, I always like my loved ones to be healthy and happy. I definitely will worry much when both of them are not healthy or unhappy. So I always tell them to have positive thinking when facing any problems, tell them don’t take any unnecessary pains to study an insignificant or insoluble problem. Learn to LET GO whatever we have possessed or owned before. I do like to help those poor children in their study. Tell stories to them to make them feel happy. I hope I really have done some good deeds to my family and others everyday.

Good, keep trying. You will the cummulative effect. In fact, it's really not hard to do one. A small good deed count as a good deed as well. Giving a helping hand to others, always keep smiling and praising people are good deeds too! Thanks for response :)

That's right. Maintaining consistency on something is really tough and needs lots of determination and dicipline. So, if we keep on practising doing good deed everyday, then it will become a habit and it will be good for us and people around us. Thanks for the response and my apology for my late response on this!
