Does anyone have any comments on The Dark Tower Series written by Stephen King? I have just finished the 7 part series and really enjoyed the read, even though it took me almost 2 years to finish and NO I am not a slow reader. I like how King wrote himself into the story line. I really loved the whole plot of the gunslingers uniting to save the world. Who was your favorite character? Did you like the ending? Did you read the "other" ending that was offered if you wanted to know more? I would recommend this series to any Stephen King fan out there. I did become angry at the author at times for some of the things that he did to the characters. But, after the finishing the story, he also wrote that he was not happy with the ending, even asking to not send him letters, because he would not answer. I found this fascinating that the story was in his head and he just penned it. Anyone have any thoughts on this series?
