vitamin e oil for beautiful skin?

i have read that vitamin E is good for healthy wrinkle free skin, but how do we use it? actually, when i consumed the capsules for a few days, my menstrual cycle went absolutely wrong - my cycle doubled, and scared me, really! so, how do we use it then? can we use it directly on the face, under the eyes? is there any particular way of using it, or we just break the capsules and use it directly? any dermatologists around? would be a great help! thanks
