My daughter is in Grade 2 french immersion. When she started in kindergarden there weren't enough children in the english kindergarden or the french kindergarden so they put the two classes together. She picked it up so quick and enjoyed it so I have enrolled her in the french program for the last couple of years as well. Being the sencond official language of our country it will benefit in the long run for her to be fluent in it.

I do. My 3 year old son knows english, tagalog and visayan already. Now he is starting to learn spanish too! It would be to his advantage if he will be fluent with other languages.

my daughter is 3 years old. she knows english and is now learning french. she will be attending a french school in the fall. i'm glad she will be bilingual. especially living here in canada it will really benefit her. most jobs here in ontario you need to be bilingual for. so she will have many more oportunities in life.
